New Canvas User Interface

Posted: 04/26/2016 - 4:15pm

On May 23, a new Instructure-designed Canvas interface will be launched in ELMS.

The structure is enhanced to provide a responsive user experience for the Dashboard and Global Navigation menu. The new interface does not affect the design or content of ELMS course spaces, new or old.  The changes make Canvas easier to use on a wide range of screen sizes, small monitors, tablets and phones. You can preview the new interface by watching this short video.  For more information refer to the Quick Guide:New Canvas User Interface. You can find a quick guide to the new interface.  If you have questions, please email elms@umd.edu.
